About Me
My Journey.
My Values.
My Commitment.
A journey shaped by people, responsibility and a commitment to meaningful service.
I was born on 28 January 1976 in Mumbai, a city that brings together people from different backgrounds, communities and walks of life. Coming from a family that has been associated with the business industry for around four decades, I grew up understanding the importance of discipline, responsibility, relationships and staying connected with people.
Over the years, I have come to believe that the opportunities and resources we have should also be used to help others. This belief has shaped my interest in social work and eventually led me towards public life and politics.
For me, serving people is not limited to holding a position or being associated with an organisation. It begins with understanding their concerns, listening to their experiences and helping them find practical solutions to the challenges they face.
Core Belief
Education is the Foundation of Social Progress
My Belief in Education and Opportunity
Creating opportunities through education, healthcare, and essential community support.
Education has always been one of the causes closest to my heart. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, gain knowledge, and build a better future, irrespective of their religion, caste, or economic background.
When children receive the right educational opportunities, the benefits extend beyond individuals to their families and communities. This is why I believe that access to education must remain a priority in our efforts towards social development.
Alongside education, I recognise the importance of healthcare and access to essential services. During my community work, I was involved in helping people obtain Reliance healthcare cards that offered eligible beneficiaries treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh. I have also supported people who needed assistance with essential documentation, including Aadhaar cards and voter ID cards.
These experiences have strengthened my belief that social work is often about helping people navigate everyday difficulties and ensuring they know where to turn when they need support.
Y Khan Foundation: A Commitment to Social Service
Supporting communities through education, medical assistance and essential documentation.
In 2023, the Y Khan Foundation was established with a focus on social service and community welfare. Its core areas of work include education, medical assistance and documentation support, with education being the primary focus.
I believe that meaningful social development requires consistent effort and an understanding of the challenges people face. Whether it is helping someone access educational opportunities, find assistance for medical needs or complete essential documentation, every effort matters when it addresses a genuine need.
The Foundation reflects this approach to service: identifying areas where people need support and working towards making that support more accessible.

My Journey in Politics
Public Engagement, Responsibility and Community Service
My formal political journey began in 2022, when I joined Shiv Sena as an Area Coordinator. During my time with the organisation, I was involved in community-related work, assisting people with their concerns and participating in political and electoral activities.
In 2025, I joined the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction), where I took on the role of National General Secretary of the Minority Department, with responsibilities at the national level.
My experience in politics has reinforced my understanding that public life comes with responsibility. It provides a platform to engage with people, understand their expectations and work towards addressing issues that affect their everyday lives.
“I see political involvement and social service as connected responsibilities. For me, the value of this work lies in remaining accessible to people, understanding their needs and contributing wherever I can.”
Vision, Values & Future
Looking Ahead
Continuing a Commitment to Community Welfare and Public Service
My journey continues to be guided by a simple belief: progress becomes meaningful when people have access to education, healthcare, opportunities and the support they need to move forward.
I believe in the importance of listening before acting, understanding before judging and working consistently rather than relying only on words. These principles continue to shape my approach to social service and public life.
As I move forward, my intention is to continue contributing to the welfare of society, with particular attention to education, medical assistance and the everyday concerns of people who need support.
For me, public service is an ongoing responsibility, one that requires sincerity, patience and a genuine willingness to work for the betterment of others.
